Conducting internal audits to identify problem areas and provide recommendations for corrective actions as needed. This includes compliance with all applicable federal, local and international regulations, including ISO 14001 requirements; Follow up using good management techniques to ensure problems are resolved; Action plans development to ensure corrective actions introduced for internal, corporate and third party audits findings; preventive actions development; tracking actions through completion; Internal communications/communications with Corporate Environmental Compliance Manager on compliance issues; Development and performance control of annual Environmental Management Program to ensure implementation; Regulatory requirements identification, compile and update of legal register; Annual environmental management processes review (scope of review is performance against year target/objectives, internal audits findings, corrective/preventive actions status, environmental monitoring, external communications, activities to build location’s favourable image);

Continuous improvement of location environmental management system performance towards ISO 14001 and implementation of health and safety management system in order to gain accreditation with OHSAS 18001; Corporate safety programs integration with local requirements; Development of preventive and corrective action plans and follow up to ensure maximum compliance; Incidents data collection, evaluation and registration in the corporate Incident Management System Database, records keeping in accordance with the Russian Federation regulations and corporate requirements, tracking corrective actions, providing pertinent documentation to government officials and statutory authorities; internal communications; Development of EHS training needs location-wide in accordance with the Russian Federation regulations and Corporate requirements; Development of EHS training materials for different target trainee groups: employees, contractors and visitors; training sessions management and presentation; EHS proficiency testing of managers and employees in assigned subdivisions; Management of location PPE program, providing guidelines on PPE acquisition process to departments, PPE budget for central departments, maintenance of location PPE catalogue, costs optimization, development of "Norms of Free of Charge PPE Issue to Location Employees”; Providing effective professional guidance to location departments on issues related to safety, health, environmental and fire safety, as well as, carrying out inspections and contractors supervision.

Assistance to Project Manager in getting state agencies permits, licenses and certifications required to complete projects; Design companies supervision: providing required initial design data in a timely manner, tracking completion dates according to contract, resolving issues arising; Ensuring communications among Client, Project Manager, designing company and expert evaluation companies, equipment suppliers, contractors and subcontractors; Assistance to Project Manager in implementation and maintenance of effective management, planning and project control system; Tracking equipment acquisition contracts; Arrangement of meetings, translation/interpretation, taking meeting minutes, tracking actions planned.

Technical, engineering, legal translation (standards, regulations, inspections/audits reports, feasibility studies, technical specifications, designs, etc.). Coordinating Corporate fire safety projects between Alcoa Russia locations (Samara and Belaya Kalitva plants) and Alcoa Corporate Services (Alcoa Loss Prevention Services, Global Rolled Products); monitoring actions developed, collecting information on actions status and updating Corporate Service; Getting approval of Corporate Services for automatic fire protection, follow up as needed on recommendations/questions, maintaining a database of fire protection designs for Alcoa Russia locations; Liaising with fire systems contractors and being a contact person for state fire departments and plant fire SPAs at both Alcoa Russia locations; Arranging, assisting, interpreting/translating EHS audits, GAPS Surveys; shops tours, work sites inspections; consecutive interpretation at trainings, site/equipment inspections, audit interviews, meetings, conference-calls, etc.; Implementation of Alcoa fire safety standards at Alcoa Russia sites; Development of location emergency procedure in accordance with corporate regulations and the Russian Federation law.

Communications and providing guidance to customers and partners in English and Russian; Preparing reports and maintaining filing system; Development, carrying out promotional events and tracking players’ activity; Writing news articles in English and Russian for the company’s sites; Translation/interpretation.
